The Actofive appreciation thread

While we wait for @beeb ’s pre order Actofive frame to arrive. I wonder if they have managed to drop some weight out of the frame. Pedalling around a 17kg ‘down country’ or you know short travel trail bike doesn’t sound snappy and fun.

17kg would put you on a SL eeb.

Top end 130mm/130mm Scott Lumen 900SL is 15.5kg.

Current frames in smaller sizes are around 4kg so larger sizes would be closer to 5kg as a guess.

Even with an Uber bling build still be a weighty build.

Factory tour, those alloy filings would drive me nuts!

IMO - That adjustable main pivot is a detail most people don't know they'd love to have. Being able to dial in your own anti-squat preference is cool AF. Could run it as a really 'energetic' pedally bike 90% of the time, then chuck in the low anti-squat chips for a shuttle day. I dig it.

Also just bolt on your preferred shock length/stroke to change travel and not crazy slack or long. Would make a great trail bike.

Nevermind Actofive, I've went back and clicked that link and looked at this bike about 5 times. Soo nice 😍
