Can't see a triple clamp from the picture?!
That just highlights how ignorant you are.

The triple clamps are as follows:

1 bolted clamp on the left of the crown for the left stanchion,
1 bolted clamp on the right of the crown for the right stanchion, and
1 boleted clamp in the middle of the fork for a removable steerer.

Add those up and you'll get three clamps and hence a tripple clamp crown.

Kona used to have a site devoted to their archives dating back to well before I was on training wheels...never could find it again :(
The site you are talking about is kona.de which was an unofficial Kona website which covered everything back to 1988. Unfortunately it went bust when no one could be found to host it. You can still access the information through web archives though.

The official Kona website has details back to MY98 and for anything older Kona wise I can help you out if you really get excited by old Konas. ;)

Guys 1998 wasn't that long ago and most of these bikes are hardly ancient.

I've got several mountain bikes/frames from 98 or older...
