Congrats, Callan! On the topic of new jobs, I just accepted the position of aerial photographer and videographer for coptercam :D :D

Multi-rotors are awesome, can carry a 5d + L lens for ~9 minutes of flight time before needing new batteries (we have ~20 batteries, the copter uses 2 at a time).
Related videos (not from my work, though):

Hi guys. Just a quick heads up for anyone on the lookout for a Canon 10-22. Got a barely used example here in excellent condition I am going to sell. Includes a genuine hood and I'm looking for around $600. PM for more info.

On another note, here's a set I took recently whilst visiting the huge Hamata and Hidden Valley gold mines in Papua New Guinea. Quite an experience!

Fight night - photos

Fightnight-082B&Wweb.jpgFightnight-084web.jpgFightnight-089web.jpgFightnight-123web.jpg

The lighting wasnt as good as I was expecting - 2 spot lights in the mutual corners, therefore had to boost the ISO.
I only ran the 50mm lense as I was standing ringside. Should have borrowed a 24-40 or something similar.

My mate was in the red corner - got done on points

Hello Snobs! I've taken a break from photography and been really focusing on filming my brother band 'colour therapy' for my Design & Technology HSC major, (doing promotion). And here is a little promotional video i did for them. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Peace.

I don't really have the experience to weigh in as a critic of wedding photography but definitely a product I'd be happy with as a customer.

I've been quiet but went for a walk today. We had flooding earlier in the week. Makes for some fairly rare compositions; this is usually a grassy meadow with a few deer and cattle. Blended from two exposures (in an ad-libbed way that I haven't done before but I think worked quite well. Layers in PS, not HDR). http://www.flickr.com/photos/benjamin-h/8235865658/in/photostream/lightbox/

Portrait help!

Hey everyone! Trying to get into portraits alot more lately and really struggling to get the right image. Although one reason may be my 50 broke but, I just want those types of photos that really pop out and people love to look at, something that stands out from the crowd if you know what I mean.
Here are a couple samples of my shots, and then a couple links to the pages with portraits that are just amazing!
