was talking to a friend of mine who wears the blue suit today.
apparantly, all pawn shops are supposed to hold things sold to them for 7 days before putting them up for sale.
now i know this doesn't always happen, but as a general guideline, that means that your nicked bike should surface in about a week if it is sold to cash converters, etc.
according to my freind, from 2 days to 10 days is the time to search for it. mostly in the morning before 10am because the new stock is put out the before usualy.
thought that might be usefull for someone.
if you have any other specific tips for trying to find a stolen bike, please put them here.
try not to clog this thread with general comments though, lets try and keep it useful for the poor bastards who have lost their rides.
