Yeah duct tape or inner tube. Not as friendly for mud to build up on as a smooth DT.

Does a little bit of grip on your tyres really slow you down on the flats that much? seems like a lot of missing grip on the climbs

Thats Nino's bike in the picture with the duct tape down it.

You'd wonder if they will come up with something better or more efficient than duct tape. Considering the state of the art shit that goes into these bikes, next years technology and parts... then a shitty piece of duct tape rippled down the frame.

It's wet ,it's steep, it's clay...
Unless they're putting shorty's on traction will be an issue
