For those considering going I would strongly reccomend it. I have been over to Norfolk twice now and have absolulely loved the place. If you do go over you must do the 5 course dinner the Island holds twice a week (I think). You are picked up from the resort and taken around to 5 different homes (usually) to enjoy different courses. A great way to meet other people.
Although if socialising isn't your thing I strongly reccommend the services club for meals. Large serves for a ridiculously low price. Cheap an delicious.

A few times per month a barge comes accross to drop off supplies; this is an increadible sight. Must see to believe.
cheers

Saw this in a MTB mag the other day. Seems pretty laid back, but I like the sound of it. Could be something very different to try my hand at! Im certainly considering it...

As this is the first occassion this stage race has been run I guess no one can really say what its like. From reading the info on the above link it seems more like a travel agents package holliday with some mountain biking thrown in, rather than a serious MTB racers event. Thats not to say that it still wouldn't be an awesome 7 days spent in a place which is not your typical number 1 holiday destination. Anyone else have any thoughts on what kind of race this is going to be?
