Trail adoption program at Lysterfield

I think offering "naming rights"or sponsorship rights to businesses could be one way to keep funding trail works. Some of us spend shitloads on unobtanium carbon fibred treadlies, why not get a bank to throw teh MTB clubs some money to allow them to greenwash their name a bit. We could be riding teh ANZ Hug trail, the Commonwealth Blair Witch or the Westpac Follow me.

Good to see some interest in this. It's something we've been working on for quite a while now - the purpose of this trail adoption is to inject the funds directly into regular trail maintenance and building new trails. It allows us to afford machinery such as a bobcat more readily to reduce the manual labour required to maintain these trails. Remember - it's a handful of volunteers working on these trails and thousands of riders using them... ️
