No, I'd rather have people with life and work experience doing the job. As Keating famously taught us, a country is a company. A business. It needs to be managed by people with relevant experience. That doesn't make me a conservative, It's just logical.
Socialism, no matter what dressing it has, doesn't work. We proved it to ourselves here in Oz. Our public transit sucks arse, our medical system is worse ..... I want my Medicare card to work again. I'm pretty filthy on the fact that I paid the levy for 35 years, and now I can't even go to a doctor without cash. I don't think I can blame the conservatives though. The system failed.

Wikipedia is a pretty balanced, if not conservative source, but I urge you to take 10 minutes to read through his life’s work. Bernie probably works as a many hours per week as you and I combined. You may not consider it work, but I guarantee that neither you or I could/would do his job.

But as a concept, the idea that a government should function like a business is a bit ... umm, what's the word? oh yes - utterly fucked. Bernie takes zero in corporate donations. His average donation is $12, and he still out raises the others. He’s not running $50k per seat like Trump or taking $500k speaking gigs.
