I agree with trump in that there are a lot of people who are secretly trump supporters and dont tell anyone to avoid the arguments. My money is still on him winning.

As awful as it was, RBG's death seems to have galvanised people very effectively - on top of the innumerable other reasons not to vote for Trump. The fundraising the Democrats have amassed in the last week is biblical...

Yes Russia is pouring in the funds, bots and whatever other bullshit they can get their hands on because a divided, weakened and fratricidal USA suits them to a tee, but I cannot imagine China (amongst others) would be taking the slights this administration hurls at them on a daily basis without reprisals, they have a great deal of resources and interests tied up in the USA...

The people behind Trump don’t give a fuck about the election any more, IMHO. They want a SCOTUS confirmed. That will get them more over the next 30 years than another Trump term will.
Question is whether the gutless Dems will actually do anything real to fight the rushed appointment....or even after an appointment. They have options, they just aren’t as good at this as the GOP.

Hehe my favourite option is to reduce the number of justices to 6 to clear out the last three appointees and then expand the court back to 9 with fresh appointees.

If they backed this up with statehood for Washinton dc and Puerto Rico that would be the SCOTUS locked up. They could then lock out the GOP from POTUS forever by introducing preferential popular vote.

There are many nuclear options in Pandoras demographic box.

His base are a cult, nothing will dissuade them until he loses and all of his dirty laundry comes to light, at which point they'll all quietly disband and find another deadshit to barnacle themselves to.

If true (and like fuck it isn't) those tax revelations will hammer Trump's reputation as an ace businessman and sound economic manager, which is literally the only thing voters have him ahead on against Biden at this stage.

No I didn't mean his base in my comment about his "economic management" - I was talking about the general population many of whom still believe he's better for America's economy (disregarding the behemoth deficit and massive unemployment currently).
