Tyre Advice for 27.5

Hi folks,

I just bought my girlfriend a Giant ATX 27.5.

It's currently fitted with 27.5 x 2.10 off-road tyres, but I want to get some touring tyres for around town.

I'm wondering whether I can alter the width dimensions of the tyres. I'm currently looking at a set of 27.5 x 2.0.

That’ll work just fine mate, 0.1 of an inch isn’t much of a different at all.

if its just for around town you & touring tyres you could get 35/40mm or 1.5's

Hi Kimi - first of all I want to say I'm a big fan!

I run Maxxis Detonators (slick) on my mtb wheels no problems - and they're heaps skinner than my offroad tyres!
