i ran minnion ardent last year and its a good combo, this year i have gone to contiental kaiser and rubber queen, similar tread pattern and rolling res, but heaps better. bit pricey though but worth it i think

I've ran a couple different tires, I normally run Minion 3C fronts on both front and rear of my bike, they work quite well, but wear out very fast. These days I have been experimenting with the Continental tires, they have proven to be a fantastic tire, lasting at least twice as long as 3C's. The only downside is the price tag is a little great to the classic Minion, but considering they last over twice as long they are sound investment, and I recommend you try them.
