Tyre fitting into my forks?

hey guys, quick question.
Would a 2.7" Maxxis Minion Dual Ply Fit in my Psylos? Just until i can get new forks. if not ill go for a 2.5".

yeah itll fit, i had a 2.7 intense in mine. manuals sometimes dont get it right, it says 2.4 or 2.6 or something.
just mount it, then measure the distance between the tire and the bottom of the crown. if theres more space than travel, your in!

ever bashed a tyre on the crown of your normal forks when bottoming out? I have.

Nope.

I really hope your normal forks have more travel than space between the tyre and crown, not the opposite

yere i have exept that was back in the day when i was running RST omni 156p forks hahaha 59mm of travel.
