Tyre rubbing = overheating ?

As the title suggest the rear tyre on my bike is touching the frame just a bit. (only in 1 side, and only the treads)

The rubbing is so soft that it doesn't even slow the wheel down, not worried about the frame (titanium)
I am just wondering if the tube is gonna overheat and pop.....

Uuuh, re-dish your wheel? I'm agreed with above. Wouldn't be worried about your tyre, be concerned with your frame.

the tyres normal friction with the ground would be far greater than that with the tiny amount of frame rub.

A tire can wear down a groove in a frame, or a hole if you ignore it long enough. I've done it to an aluminium frame that I didnt care about and was to lazy to swap the tire back.
I would'nt be letting that happen to a Ti frame though. It's a small fix to a potentially big problem. Have you seen what even brake cables can do to metal?
