Location: Melbourne, but will buy by post from a stand-up Burner
Price range/Willing to Pay: $1000ish
Extra Info: Searching on behalf of a mate who is new to MTB. Wants something decent but has limited funds. I've been watching the trading section, but nothing jumps out at me. Shoot me a PM if you have a spare bike floating around the garage.

Giant Ac2. Old but often found upgraded. I sold mine for about $500 I recall, and it was a good one. Do some googling, I would highly recommend them for your intended purpose.
