stinky

hey mate
i got n 06 stinky (15.5") with marzocchi jr t pros( 170 mm just serviced) on it had a few modifications. 24" halo combat wheels, truvative five d cranks, deore rear mech, ethirteen supercharger bashy, black spire chain guide, xt cassett n chain(1 month old hardly ridden), black spire 40t chain ring, welgo flatties, hayes beaks (hmx5), gold pro tapper bars, dkx 3 rear shock(just serviced), fsa bb(brand new), oury lock on grips. its an awsome bike n lighter than a stock standed stinky 2. its trated me well but i gotta sell it due to injury needs a new head set but apart from that its al perfect break pads r just new forks n shock just serviced. handles n cornes beter than the stock standed because in changing the forks i took 1 deg of the head angle n now it handles like a dh bike not a free ride bike. good fun to play n makes an awsome race bike il sell for around $1000 let me know if you r interested n i can send pics. worth well over $1900 will pay postage.
cheers

05 Stinky

Umm yeah, thats an ultra low price considering all that bling, Id be suss. Everyone knows head angle and therfore bottom bracket angles and height clearance is easily changed on the Stinky's, simply by sliding the crowns down to the minimum setting as per indicated on most Marzocchi forks. $1000for an 06 with all that gear on it?, and its in ex condition?, thats a good one. Check for cracks tho. Also dont be fooled, you cant turn a Stinky into a "DownHilll race bike", its about design, suspension path and mostly handling, and the Stinky is what it is,: A Good, affordable, basic Freeride Bike. Kona builds thee Stab Supreme/Deluxe range for downhill specific duties, its a completley different geometry, build, and componentry makes them DownHill race bikees.
Just thought id clear that up.
Cheers.
