Weird Cadence values on Edge 305 on Jet Black Z1 Trainer

Hey Folks,

When riding on the trainer in the house my Edge 305 produces very odd cadence results that fluctuate from 75/80 to 170/180, now I know im not spinning at 170 but it keeps on giving me these numbers. Its a bit frustrating as out of the trainer on the road all works fine but when trying to follow a spin training workout which works with cadence & time its stuffing me up lol.

Its got a new battery (cadence unit) and has been re paired with the computer and the trainer is a Z1 fluid job which is great but just would love to figure this out, has anyone else had issues like this.

Have you tried moving the trainer to a different room? Potentially it is interference from another source - PC, TV, lighting etc etc.

The fact that it only happens when you are stationary and not when you're on the road tends to suggest this.
