Hi folks,
the Western NSW launch of the NSW NPWS MTB policy will be coinciding with a 20, 40, 60k race around Beni Forest just outside of Dubbo.
This is a NPWS managed venue so riding will be primarily firetrail/management trails (as per current policy), despite this its important to get as many riders as possible there to demonstrate support and possible visitor numbers through embracing mountain biking. Race entry will be cheap ($5plus day license if needed) to encourage as manay as possible to attend.
There will be a BBQ, Parks staff will be present to assist us and it'd be great if people could let them know their thoughts about opening up the NPWS estate to mountain biking (as appropriate and as per the soon to be released policy). Western NSW NPWS management will be present so this is a great opportunity to fly the flag and demonstrate the potential visitor numbers they are currently missing out on.

Come along for a fun ride, enjoy the bbq, check out the new policy, and if you need a fix of singletrack head over to Geurie to hit up the smooth flowy trails there
