Hey guys,
I am currently looking for a budget downhiller to start racing on.
I have looked at a few bikes but don't really know what to get. My budget is around $1,500 depending on what my bike sells for. I have looked at a Giant ATX2 and a few Kona Stinkys please help.

Have a look at the trading area of Farkin and see what type of bike you can get for that money. It is a good place to start.

that cash won't buy a great deal. wish it did. unless you have a really good connection in the biz.

you in mansfield hey. try and hit up Raw NRG up the hill, see what they got to sell. you can get lucky. some older technology from early 2000's, that someone doesn't realise what they have.

a DH bike is very expensive to keep running. breakages happen. it's a labour of love. like any decent addiction, you can't think in dollars too much, otherwise you'll get depressed.

i saw a spanking new demo8 for sale for 3.5k. if you know you want to get into it, start strong.
