Well, somone made the same thread last year so all credit goes to them (couldn't find it again), but I think it was good thread to see what people mangled/bent/destroyed in one year, so post up the what happened to your parts this year! I'll start things off, mine aren't very exciting, just wore outcheapo parts really but it was still an expensive year...

Wore out 2004 Boxxer Races (little rubber thing around one of the cartidges wore out)
Van RC shock leaked all its oil
Wore out a set of Juicy 7s :( I loved mine
Snapped an x4 rear mech at the alloy b-knuckle
Cracked a barrell adjuster off a x4 front shifter
Rear mech chisled away at my mech hanger until it couldn't hold it any more
Slightly bent some funn fatboy bars
Patched at LEAST 30 holes, and went through numerous tubes, pretty sure cross marks a bit too thin for me!
I tried to fix these spinner ammos, but using grease is not a good idea, anywhere! They now have no "damping" at all, only because the only "damper" is the friction on the seals.
1 Chain ring bolt, which only just got around
Destroyed an XT BB bearing, trying to get it off the spindle which it had rusted on.
And only 2 spokes on my djer, and that was some time after some very, very bad cases

- Fox Van 32s, cracked lowers then cracked uppers, then got stanchion wear on new uppers and blew internals
- Rockshox Psylos, filled em with water for the lols
- 4 spokes on DJ bike
- 1 Troy Lee D2 Carbon
- 2 Pro-Tec classics
- Bent a holzfeller crankset/chainring and pedal spindle
- Bent 2 SDG BelAir saddles
- Blew up a few brakes (avid/shimano)
- 2 DT 4.2 rims
- Few pedals

Thats about it. Maybe 1 or 2 tubes.

Chromag fubars bent
Sunn rim ryno lite dt hub ( hub split in half after a I came up short on a gap)
3 XT bbs ( I commute as well as trail/dh on the 1 bike )
Bent axel on 5050 pedal
Avid juicy 3 ( killed them leaking from everywhere )

I think that's all

Cracked a Banshee Pyre frame.
Snapped a X9 rear mech.

An XT chain.

I got a pile of 9 tubes in the shed that have already been patched multiple times, and they are all waiting on more patches!
8 nipples on my rear wheel in 4 months
Bent my hangar many times
And finally, Me, lots of times
i break more than my bike does...

The bad-jet for my out of town riding... didn't break much but wore out some of my Kenda K-Rads.

1. Chain from a 3 week old bike (yes steep learning curve)
2. Deore XT rear derailleur - Scott 24 hr. Going really fast down a hill, no rocks then suddenly my bike stops as id I hit a brick wall and I fall sideways. Big stack and headset stabbed into my belly. At the finish when I was checking out my bike I found this. My theory is a stone got stuck in the jockey wheel at thats why I stopped like that.

3. left crank. wondered for 5 minutes why I couldn't clip in. It was because the crank was attached to my left foot. Apparently the shop that built my bike installed the crank bolt wrong and after some riding the crank bolt fell off never to be found again.
4. Exlir 5 brake levers (BIG stack)

Specialized Frame, cracked the chain stay
DT swiss wheel, pancaked it
Stans Crest wheel, 20mm buckle. new rim job
FSA K force crank set, smashed the pedal thread out of the carbon on both cranks
Magura Marta brakes, blew a seal in on of the levers
Shimano XT brakes, cracked the reservoir in the lever.
A couple of carbon bottle cages

I also tore my AC ligament at the Youies, Probably the worse one of the lot

About $15,000 worth of 6mm Comfort Plus Energytech glass intended to go in some sliding doors.
I just leaned against a rack that was already on a lean at the window factory, and over she went. It was pretty spectacular.
Quite satisfying actually. Who dosn't like breaking glass?

Many, many tubes (tubeless might be worth it just for the savings in new tubes when I get to lazy to patch the damn things..)

And of course a nice concussions and a $800 ambo ride to top of the year...
