Changed the gearing on the commuter to 38:16 and adjusted the cable disc brakes due to wearing pads.

Gave the dually a wash after its last ride to get rid of the dust.

Stayed up late again to watch the Orion launch, so didn't drag my arse out of bed this morning to go riding. And missed my window for riding this weekend - a lovely sunny morning followed by serious rain all day which means all the trails are going to a be a mess...

Shoulda, woulda, coulda... Sigh.

And the freaking nasa tv feed froze right on launch :mmph:

Finally got to ride the Porrygong.... damn its good. See the PYR for more:

Dammit, that just makes more annoyed I didn't get out today before the rain! Stromlo would have been pretty decent this morning, a bit damp to keep the dust at bay, but not washed out and throwing sand all through your drivetrain.

The hardtail was awesome on Wimps.
I only piked out on a couple of the jumps (because it's an XC bike afterall).

38-39"
Replaced yet another spoke nipple in the rear wheel on my Enduro 29r, 4th one and counting. All have snapped at the nipple.
Replace, retrue, ride and repeat it seems.
Anyone else have issues with this happening? It's the OEM wheel set, Roval traverse.
And took out the emergency tube I had in and reset the tubeless. That shit makes a mess.
hey there STSS. grab yourself an acccount on MTBR. there is a thread on there for roval wheels.

http://forums.mtbr.com/wheels-tires/roval-questions-846171-38.html

ask roval joe (who may or may not be Joe Buckley, Specialized’s product manager for Roval) what he thinks about your problem.

I had trouble with breaking heaps of spokes in a set of Roval wheels (2013 26" traverse) - he told me to send my wheel to Specialized to get it checked out - that they had a batch of hubs drilled incorrectly. sent it it in and they wound up replacing the hub and relacing the wheels under warranty.

No guarantees but he might be able to point you in the right direction bloke.

Where'd you get your pallet racking style shelves from?
I got it from ebay, be patient and bid at the last minute :)
Bought 4 for like $80 each, instead of the $100-$150 outright.

It's good to see a man who loves his bike that much, he services his bike on
shag pile carpet. ........
Packed my tools
Serviced my cranks/bearings/bb
Serviced my saint pedals
Played with my tyres
Rebuild a bike

Good to see he practices good dental hygiene as well
Hhahahah it's an optical illusion!
I wouldn't work on a shaggy carpet :), it's a used towel ontop of a table.
The colgate is a quicker option to rub off stubborn stains for grease or marks and wipe off with wet wipe.

What a perfect day for riding. Sparrow was just perfect - sunny, cool breeze, and just enough mud to be fun. And virtually deserted as everyone expected it to piss down again today.

I tried and failed! *cuts normal tubes for valve cores*
Went back to the proper mavic valve core lol
