Feels like forever since I posted a cock pic on here! It was good to see the big cock was still out and proud, with a very erect crest. He still hasn't scored a tail...



No sign of him when I left at dark. I'd thought he was roosting in a nearby hollow log or tree stump, but no. Not in any low branches that I could see either.

He has a good spot. Once the spring hits, his turf will be alive with blackberry bush.
