What does your day look like?

Everytime I see one of those hay trucks roll through town I imagine someone somewhere setting tens of thousands of dollars in $50 notes on fire...

This winter is going to be brutal on this side of the Sandstone Curtain.
It's very dry on the coastal side too. Water restrictions should be permanent. Population growth in big cities will drain water supply, we need to recycle and desal, and folks that have never been through water restrictions likely have 10 minute showers. Hopefully the next year brings the steady rains.

Sadly, one rain event doesn't end a drought (even 120mls).
It was VERY heavy....some filled the dams, which was great...& the rest headed for S.A.
The grass won't grow now until Sept/Oct & then only if there's good rain beforehand.
In the meantime the hay keeps roll'n through at up to $35,000 per load.
Maybe a bit to do with why there's not too many new Landcruises gett'n about ?
Still...there's no doubt and we can carry on as per our usual ways.

Owning to where I live, I'm going to go mental with this stuff:

Apply corrosion protection paint to the face of any channel member connected, abutting or interlocking (nesting) to any other member or wall or surface. Also coat cut ends of all members and the tops of joists where decking or sheeting is to be fixed.
Any cuts & horizontal surfaces won't know what hit them...
