I have the extension Greasemonkey, FasterFox, Firetune and videodownloader (downloads videos from youtube etc) and I recently got the one you say can download multiple links at once. I can't get it to work though.

Any tips?
you have to download and install a standalone download manager, if you right click and go to the bit that says ??? NO DOWNLOAD MANAGER ??? or somehting like that. It'll take you to a list of compatibl download managers.

I got FlashGet, I think it's made by the same ppl that made the FlashGot extension. then you go to a gallery and click get all or grab the selection you want and get selection

it's not really intuitive but once you sus out the naming pattern the web designer has ussed it's a peice of cake.

Gravedig, I know, but it's not really worth a new thread to put the word out about the release of Firefox 2.

I've been using it for a few weeks now and I am well impressed. All my plugins (noscripts, adblock, forecastfox, fasterfox) moved across to the new browser seamlessly with updates, as did all my bookmarks (no export/import required). Tab handling is much improved, and I can now change the order of tabs or recall an accidentally closed tab without hassle.

One of my favorite features is session restore, which I use a lot. If your browser crashes, it restores everything, including all text typed into all windows. No more half-finished emails when some unrelated software goes boom!

The microsummary feature is pretty cute. If you use Google reader or similar you can browse new posts with a summary of the first few lines displayed next to it. Very handy for background monitoring for good posts without hitting the "new posts" button all the time.

And... built in spellcheck! As I type this post, everything I misspell is highlighted with an unobtrusive red dotted underline. I've not been able to work out how to adjust the spelling library to Australian spelling rather than US, but it is far, far better than nothing.

The general look and feel has been tidied up, and skins now look even better. I find I positively miss my super-customized browser when I go to work and have to use internet explorer :( All in all, this is a very worthwhile update, go get it now if you haven't already!

Opera because it loads quickly. Yay! Firefox2 has sessions support; hmm Opera has had them much much longer. Opera also doesn't take forever to load existing sessions like Firefox. Opera owns you all...on occasion.

Late breaking news: you can get your spellchecker in 'Strayan! Right click on a misspelt word and select "languages-->add dictionary".
