I guess there would now be about 50-70km of trails?
If your in the heart of adelaide there's Eagle MTB park, craigburn farm, fox creek, lynton trails all within 20/30 mins of the city and all have a good variety of riding!
Hey guys, how would you choreograph say a 2-3hr visit to Fox Creek on a trail bike? I had a look at the map, a bit hard to tell where to start and where to end...I rode FC with a few of the DH/AM crew 2 days ago. Great uphill along Middle Earth. All over various tracks, Finished after 2.5hrs, then into city for Burritos.
I'd park at the bottom (fox creek road car park) head up middle earth to the top (or up the guts on the fire road) then choose either green smoothie, duck and weave or fox fast, back down to the bottom! Have a rest for 5 minutes and repeatHey guys, how would you choreograph say a 2-3hr visit to Fox Creek on a trail bike? I had a look at the map, a bit hard to tell where to start and where to end...
Took my lightweight DH rig to Adel on my last trip there and did the FC DH tracks and loved it. The soil is amazing (looks like terra rossa, not an expert, but seeing all the wineries around prob a safe bet) and tracks are well designed. I think Green Smoothie was still under construction at the time.
I just looked over the trail map (didn't know it existed) and this is what I did with the guys in ~2.5hrsI'd park at the bottom (fox creek road car park) head up middle earth to the top (or up the guts on the fire road) then choose either green smoothie, duck and weave or fox fast, back down to the bottom!
