Where are you located? Are there many four X tracks or just DJs

bmx track, 4x track 10 minutes drive maybe less and lots of dj s in the area

DMR. Less parts to go wrong, steel frame, and DMR were pretty much created for building dj style bikes, so the geo should be alright.

go the reptoid i gotta dmr drone which is the same thing only rigid forks, i chnged the forks to gold lables and it rides sweet, so its pretty much the same as a reptoid, only thing there a bit heavy stock

yeah im still a little unsure of what to get because i kind of want to convert to like 4 gears for 4x. cuz i still kinda want gears and yeah if anyone had any suggestions about other bikes prefferably around the 1k mark that would be great

Out of the two you posted up I'd also go the DMR.

I hate to say it but have you thought about a Giant STP? You can get a decent one for $1000 2nd hand.

i reckon the thread 8 is better than the stp and plus i dont really want a second handy. i think the haro is more suited to 4x

DMR is the way to go man, unless u wanted to go 2nd hand then u have a lot of other choices, but if ur keen for a new ride then DMR is the way to go. just my opinion.
