which tire?

im deciding between maxxis high roller and maxxis mobsters.. whats the difference between them?? are their any other alternatives.
and i would be running the tyre on the front, is it alright to leave the rear as a 2.3?

Highroller is more slalom tyre, mobster is DH tyre... i think dj3's can hold 2.7's however wtf would u ? needless weight.. specially since its on a dj bike.. get 2.3-2.5 and it'll be wicked.

I'd highly recomend the High Roller, the mobster they seem to be a lot more grippy for urban and hardpack stuff that I ride. It's also great for the loose pack but prolly not as good as the mobster

The Minion is a good mix of both, I love em. Bling Blings also roll fast and hook up okay. Anything in super tacky or slow reezaay are nice.

I have White Tigers and they rock, no pinch flats yet and I use them for urban thrashing.

take the white tigers over the high rollers any day.
but if you want the best i say minion slow reezay 2.5's

I'm a Kujo fan myself, they just wear so well, and the grip is easily adequate.

if you're into DJ do what my mate does and get a 2.3 high roller semi-slick on the back and a 2.5 minion on the front :wink: if only he had a 24'' rear wheel, mmmmm... anyway that thing already accellerates like a rocket
