Yore welcum. But don't pretend you didn't know exactly what was being discussed. I guess it is a little more technical when compared to accelerating big balls of metal from confined spaces with somewhat controlled explosions. ;) Fire in the hole!
I didn't let the xt bit soak in. Ah well. Anyway. I won't pretend. I didn't connect the balls. Maybe forge weld them together and make a Damascus style axle?

So after I put the bearings in the right sides, turned the seal around so it was oriented correctly and inserted the axle in through the correct side so the cones correctly mated with the bearings, lo and behold everything ran beautifully. Cftfw.
