who lives in VIC?

So.....who here lives in Victoria?
I will be joining the Navy as a marine technician, so I will be at Cerberus, located at Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula. Now I understand thats a bit away from Melbourne (like 1 and a half hours?), but I'll be either;
1 - buying a new bike over there, or
2 - getting my bike posted over here after the first 4 weeks of training when i can leave the base.

So I'll pretty much be living over there, and just wondering if there was anyone who lives there, or around there on here. As its the only bmx forums site i use now. Oh, and I'll be heading there in January

ive got a mate who is based at cerebus, who rides bmx. but he is currently up north doing boarder control style duties.. i think i have your msn, ill pass you on to him.

In vic. 5km from melb cbd so nowhere near crib point.
How far from frankston is crib point?
There's some sweet parks down that way, but I couldn't tell you how the 'scene' is in that part of the state?

theres a mad bowl in rye, near sorrento which is on the mornington penninsular.

the scene is good in hastings pearcedale baxter tyabb area for bikes
skate park in narly every suburb on the peninsula
rye bowl is the best ever
