why are solid forks so expensive

why are rigid forks so expensive? it seems you could buy a good set of shocks for the price of solids

What do u mean by solid pair? Solids? If by solid u mean good, then the more expensive the better they are, i.e adjustments etc.

They are reasonably expensive, yes, but still way cheaper then a decent set of suspension forks. Look at RRPs, not second hand prices of Dirt Jams Comps in the Trading Area. And they are called rigid forks.
