I went out and had a look for about 3 hours in the morning, it was such a nice day. couldn't beleive the carpark either, a massive number of cars, tents, bikes and folding chairs.
anyway, even the people who were leaving because of a mechanical and an illness (one per team member, they threw the flag in at 10-11am ish) were all smiles and had no complaints.
props to the organisers - i might give it a whirl myself next year (seriously).
