X Fusion o2 rl options and questions

So I have a Rocky Mountain Altitude and think the fox ctd is okish and have seen some X Fusion o2rl shocks available through a couple of retailers at dirt cheap prices. I've had a very positive experience with my X Fusion Sweeps and was wondering what peoples experiences with the o2rl are. The said shock is an oem so not sure what tune they are. Could DIYMTB custom tune the shock for the Altitude ? It does come with this shock on some models. My style of riding is trail/ all mountain ish would the shock be up to the abuse or is it more of an xc shock. Ether way at $150 it might be worth a chance. Any help would be welcome. Cheers

I've had 2x o2rl - both went belly up pretty quick. The lockout failed on one and blew the rebound on the other.

They were older models and second hand so maybe not relevant, but was pretty disappointing given the ace experience I've had with xfusion forks.
