not sure what to make of this...

According to the website BMX Games & the typical BMX Games format will make up the 'FBMX' component of the weekend. If thats the case it should be pretty good. Although if that is the case I'm surprised their BMX promo video is a shitty youtube clip of some French trails. 07, 08 & 09 BMX Games are replayed weekly on Fuel - surely these guys could get their hands on a promo clip from 09 in Melbourne?

+ "fully choreographed... Action Sports Spectacular" - no thanks

"On Saturday night we've invited the best athletes from within the professional ranks to ‘come out and play' - this is the ‘X Factor' of the event. The Action Sports Spectacular provides an energy packed, fully choreographed pyro and sound show, resulting in an event to be remembered as you witness breathtaking feats, tricks and stunts. "

Its paragraphs like this that confirm you don't 'get it'

The Action Sports Spectacular will feature all sports (both comp and demo) that are part of the XSport Games..........

The Freestyle BMX Competition will be separate to this within its own venue! Ticket sales for the Action Sports Spectacular (XSport Games) is what pays for the massive costs in staging the FBMX Competition......

We get it............do you!?

Haha. I wouldn't have thought most BMXers would fork out eighty bucks to watch a comp. Comps are about watching riding, it seems that you've tried to make it too 'extreme'.

1. it's a rip-off
2. who cares about pyro and sound shows at a bmx comp? not me, especially if that's what makes it so expensive to watch.. my 2c

"The XSport Games has single day/sport pass options for $15 (3-12yrs) $25 (13+ yrs)....." - it costs 50 bucks for two daily 13+ passes but 79 for 2 days?!?

"each to their own"

We're all different and we all like different things.

We appreciate your comments! Don't take yourself too seriously though...............

motoX went the way of the arena spectacular & it doesnt seem to have done that sport any harm. Will it work with little bikes? I dont really care. Will I pay 80 clams to go watch BMX? Begrudgingly.
yeah but motox, ballsy as it is, went the way of boring a long time ago.
