I've never done riding photography, but this is my best landscape of the year:

Hey mate, that is one of the most amazing scenery shots I've ever seen, and it's not like you've gone underground or out of space or climbed Everest....it's a simple beach...which might be remote but hey its frigging amazing. Do you have a website, with a larger picture, for my back round that is is amazing, and just seeing a larger version would be great where was it taken?

:) Thanks. My gallery is here: http://biogenesis.deviantart.com

It was taken at Dudley Beach, which is at the Southern end of the Glenrock State Conservation area (very popular with the MTB community), which is completely surrounded by Newcastle. Map link: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=-32.97644&lon=151.7335&zoom=15&layers=B000FTF

So yeah, it's not the most remote beach ever, but being outside of Sydney it's easy to get a shot without people in it.

Here be the desktop backgrounds :):

Oh, and to be fair it's not a single photo. it's 2. The top half (above the horizon) was shot at -2EV and the bottom shot at +2EV. They were combined with a linear gradient mask mn'hai.

Do you know where Glenrock scout camp is? Im doing a course up there in March, is it worth taking the bike up?
