No pics but my best effort was when a mate and myself were riding some fast single track at the top of an old quary.
The track was about 30cm wide with a massive near vertical rock covered hill to the left and thick shrubs to the right.
Well typical me, I managed to accidentally slip my front wheel off the egde and I rolled/slid/tumbled (with my faithful bike at my side) face first down the meanest hill I've seen.
I had gashed in both hands, both legs, my gut (and my ass) that required stitching.
-But- the worst part was having my front hydro cable wripped out of the caliper, bent bars and a scratches covering my bike... not a fun day out

Hey mate,

Surgery was bumped forward to late last night, and I'm back home now with some metal, stitches, bandages and a sling.

Mr. Doc-man quoted me a maximum of 3 months off the DH bike, with a follow up appointment in 2 weeks.

How would a set of skins help it heal? You've lost me.

That's pretty odd. When I did my collar bone it wasn't nearly as bad as yours looks and I got minimum 3 months off bikes altogether.

I love the picture where the guy has folded his rim and is just about to go over the bars as the photographer has managed to get the photo just as the rotor is about to smash itself on the ground. LOL.

Anyway, my 2cents. (Sorry dont know how to embed it). Found it on Pinkbike the other day. The best part is when the guy behind the tree in the third picture gets a face-full of 5-10.

I've cut off my right forefinger and squashed another both bike related. one riding one doing maintainance.
its gross but I have pics just after I cut it off.. :p
