Three things:-
1) Make sure your on a dating site not a "hook up site"
2) Don't chat forever to get to know them get a date straight up or forget it
3) Make a reasonable profile that shares info not the generic I am looking for love bullshit give a little of your self

Lol I posted at the same to do the exact opposite. If I didn't get a date in the first 2 weeks of talking to them then I never got a date and other people I know have had exactly the same experience.

I think we are both right... I think it depends on the site you use as to the expectation.I found the ones who wanted to meet up quickly were just after a root, suited me though lol.
The ones I talked to more first were more likely to become a relationship... Might be an age thing... I was under 30 at the time
+1 with these.
You pretty much know as soon as you talk to them first time whether it's worth meeting them or not.

a lot of women are wary of any dating sites because it's often used by guys looking for a hookup. i used some for a while, RSVP and Zoosk.
make sure she has more than one photo, and keep scrolling if it's a duckface...
read between the lines - a fellow therapist and i would go online and troll just to see what people had written in their profiles and try to figure what mental health issue they had :behindsofa: Christian Dating was an eyeopener, and not in a good wayound:
you'll probably have better success with a paid site as the women on it will be more serious about finding a relationship. plenty of free hookup sites out there.
for the love of God don't post photos of yourself in work gear, singlets or with a beverage or fish in hand :twitch: ....and definitely not with anything that identifies where you're from.
