2mm x 10mm brass Enve, the 'Pillar' branded alu nipple is a around a 5mm socket. That's if you can get any bite on the corroded edges.

Where the 2mm nipples still a tight fit on your spokes? I remember seeing somewhere that they are self locking hence would explain why they don't thread on as easily as regular ol' non loctite enhanced DT nipples.

There is no locking on mine, they thread on/off freely. I used the usual linseed oil to lube and lock them.Thanks @ozzybmx Most appreciated.

Yes lots of fun, I dont mind building my own wheels but its not something I enjoy.
