So no gold medal for Sydney then. Hope they don’t hit those sort of numbers.
The difference is when Melbourne hit that 700+ number they weren't using the same control measures that are being used now, isolation of close contacts, tier1 and tier 2 exposure sites, check-ins and QR codes etc... It's why we were locked up for 3 months.. It was kind of all 'new' back then.
You'd think Sydney would have learnt from that, but still no proper lockdown...
