For mixed or female team - a course I was going to has been cancelled and I'm keen!

This is a Leatt brace compatible body armour, and it's about time I got a new one. It looks like it has a fabric base layer, rather than mesh, like my current 661 armour. Of course it says it's breathable and wicks sweat, but these things are designed and ridden in Europe or North America...

Only just seen it.... will spread the word among my crew. Sounds awesome!!!! Is there any way to subscribe to an email reminder type set-up? Am an MTBA member but don't get any NSW updates.

They have posted a schedule now on national series website - check it out. Says there is rego from 8.30, closes 1.30, practice from 2 - 3, racing from 4 - 5.30. Doesn't mention shuttles. You could call jeff from CORC (his number is on their website) to find out.

Alright, I spoke to Jeff from CORC today, he said it is on Friday 10th, it is one timed run, and it starts at the downhill start, goes across and up to Wedgetail (he thought) then down Skyline and Luge to finish. About 4.5km.

Also posted in XC/enduro. The National Series website only mentions the XC course, and says it's on Friday Feb 10. I have heard gossip about what the course might be (Skyline + Luge), but can't find confirmation. Does anybody know? And what is the format, is it most laps, or one timed run...

Gloves, places to ride, guards All good advice so far! My 3 cents' worth: 1. If you're starting out on flats (I wear 5.10s for XC) shin guards are a must! There's nothing more off-putting than a nasty gash on the shin. I also think elbow guards if you're going to a trail with any rocks on it...
