You read it here first people... the very first pic of the new Eastern Thunderbird.

It's a lower priced model than the Night Train.

It should sell for "around" $1100. (inc' pegs)

Sorry for the small image. Leigh Ramsdell was taking happy snaps for me as they were boxing them up to take to Interbike.

I like the cro-mo cranks and butted cro-mo handlebars... nice.

More pics (and a delivery date) as they become available.

ps: also comes in black.

Elvis.

RST?
Even cheaper than this year if the 1,100 is accurate'
Nice.
The Thunderbird is an all new model.

The Nighttrain is the current model. And it returns again in the 2008 range. retail should be about: $1599

See below.

ps: also comes in black.

Cool bike, horrid name.

Pity about that. Just wish these bikes were around 2 years ago when I first was on the market!

Sweet mother Mary thats nice!

But is it 24' or 26'?
Both the Thunderbird and the Nighttrain will be 26" only in 2008.

Sorry guys... but Eastern just didn't sell many of the 24" bikes worldwide.

The "new for 2008" Traildigger24 comes in 24" (as you may have guessed).

And it will retail for about $649 (yes... complete) with a cro-mo rigid fork.

($699 for the 26" model) and before someone asks... no pics available yet. Should have some in a couple of days (once Interbike starts)

Elvis.
