Read the fine print, Matt. It's based on the 2006 scores and scalings and shit. I doubt things will have changed THAT much, but I'm going to try and overcompensate anyway. And it doesn't mean that you should slack off, and not try as hard as possible anyway.

Eh, it hasn't exactly been explained to me very well..
Elaborate?:)

Also, I love your sig.

I want an OP that's less than 5.
Dunno if that will happen, some schools get OP predictions, we don't : (

Each semester you pass off 1 subject you get 1 "credit point" or some shit.

So;
You do 6 subjects and pass them all every semester you'll get 24 credit points.
Fail one semester of 1 subject, you'll have 23 credit points, etc.

You need 20 Credit Points, or else you don't get your Queensland Certificate of Education (previously just a "senior certificate" I beleive) and you fail at highschool...

You also get credit points if you finish a tafe course, do an AMEB music exam higher then grade 5 etc.

But, it's pretty awesome.

5 in math b
8 in english
4 in SOR
7 in IPT

It's like..1 on 1 tuition, we finish our terms work really early.

Don't be hatin.

We got like, 40 students.
How can a school operate with such little amount of students? Surely it would have been closed before it got to this point. I went to a school that had 100 from year 11 & 12, but that was a private school going from prep-12. Left because of lack of subject choice. Wouldn't you be very limited in the subjects they can run?

The closure was announced two years ago.
It was promised that the school will continue to operate untill that years year 10 (my grade..now in year 12) would complete school.

We only have grade 10 and 12, the 10s have to go elsewhere at the end of this year.

Yeah, pretty limited on subjects, but it doesn't really bother me, because I'm doing what I want to do.

ACT uses the UAI (University admission index). Maximum is 100 (Only one person gets that) minimum is 50. You get below fifty and you still get a Y12 certificat just no UAI.

I'm on track for 99.7 as it stands, doing:

Maths Methods
Specialist Maths
Physics
Chemistry
English (Not my choise. If i could I would pick up IT instead)

Yeah well I go to a school in Brisbane, and I dont know if its the same at every other school but you choose 6 subjects at the end of yr10 and then you have those 6 for yr 11 and 12 if you want to do an OP which is like what ever NSW and Vic have. The worst OP is 25 and the best is 1.
I'm in yr10 this year and we have to choose our senior subjects pretty soon I like to think ahead haha so next yr and yr12 I'm doing
- Maths B
- English
- Tech Studies (Wood/Metal work 40%theory, 60% prac)
- Biology
- Legal Studies.
- Hopefully Physics if I get the marks to get in, if not ill probably do Earth Science.

Yeah. I have no idea what I wanna do out of school, I was thinking maybe buisness and then opening a music store. Or maybe doing Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering (sorry I'm not the best speller)
