I'm 99% sure that point to point piggy bank speed cameras have been installed at Bredbo and just before Cooma, timing you between the two, and sending fines if too fast

I want to goto Japan already. *sigh* nah all good, going to NZ in Aug then Japan in January next year

just hope we have a decent season this year.

Don't worry about the Japan season, they will have snow. I am While in NZ I would concentrate on learning to ride untouched deep powder if you can find it... because honestly, it is a different sort of riding and you will struggle if you haven't experienced it before. It is like everything happens slower, and you really need to put your whole body in to the turns. It is really hard to explain, but it is just different... in a good way. The plus is, if you stack then you get up with snow all over you and just laugh. It is that soft.

As for the pole. It is this one. Easy to fit in a day pack when not in use.
