The 2011 World Cup season is done and dusted. Now the silly season of team speculation has begun!

Who is going where and riding what for the 2012 World Cup season? Who knows?!!! Let the speculation begin!

Some creative chap has started a Twitter account called @teamrumours and has put ink to paper to illustrate his thoughts as cryptic cartoons.

We’ll update this as @teamrumours churns out the gossip. Have a gander and see if you can interpret the hieroglyphs.

I personally don't see Brosnan leaving Specialized for at least a couple more years. They're one of the bigger set ups out there so firstly I don't think anyone would offer him a huge amount more money than he is already be payed/offered by Specialized. Also they did take him under their wing to get him two world cup overalls and champs in a row (yes he probably would have done it with any other company too) so I'm sure he'll have loyalty to them. Thirdly, I doubt specialized would let some other team take him with a higher money offer after all the potential he has shown to be the next Sam Hill of the sport.

Can't be long until Redbull takes Gwin with the results he's had and the fact monster haven't picked him up yet either (as far as I know?)

I heard it from a bloke down the pub that knows these things.:very_drunk:


Oh he also mentioned the Athertons will be on GT next year...

That's a pretty damn big call! GT are coming off their best year where they've managed to supply their top riders with bikes without changing ownership and distributors six times............;)
If Faircloth goes then that just opens the saddle up for Brosnan. Done!

Hill broke his contract and will not ride a factory team next year, rumor has he will be running his own team aboard the demo.

Brosnan to stay on with specialized/monster.

Really want to see this!! So few aussie DH girls, they really get crap (or no major) support/sponsorship. Could we really only manage one woman for the worlds team? Thanks for not much, Cycling Australia.
