Weather wise, looks like Maydena and Derby will be ok but might get some showers in Queenstown. The loose stuff might be a bit more grippy with a bit of moisture on it.

I have a GoPro vid of Zen Garden upper from 3-4 weeks ago, shows you the whole thing from top to bottom, with talking and nonsense.

Ahhh... yous have already done Zen Garden.

Its actually a quite a scenic place, probably why it got called ZG.

Its in a different setting than the rest of the hill, small low level shrubs and perfectly straight trees in an airy clearing... and the GoPro does nothing for the steepness.

Still standard def, will be HD after processing. My boys looking out for the old man down the hill

Survived day one with a single crash and slightly fat ankle but heaps of fun was had. A bit out of my depth but managing to somehow get down the hill.

Nah not really. Some of the fellas there were locals and a group that had been riding all three locations for the last week. My focus is not spilling any claret so I can finish the 5 days.
