As promised in my newbie thread, here is the pictorial of the last 12 months of bike ownership.
We'll start with my first serious (for me) mountain bike, the Polygon AX3. Such a sweet bike and very hard to let go.

After the Stonefly episode, a 29er, not a fitness regime, was seen as the answer. Along came the Focus. Added some Crossmax and a XX crank if for nothing else but prestige, it became quite a nice light bike to ride.

After the Epic episode, Ive decided that rear suspension is the key. So after much thought, this is what I came up with. I know the gear and brake lines need cleaning up and the steerer tube needs more cut off (first time i've cut one of those bad boys, pretty scary gig) but so far pretty happy. Hitting Buller Feb 7 so Í'll add a ride report then. BTW, wont be running the XX cranks, waiting delivery of some X1 1400 cranks.
