Same hypothesis links but different interpretation. the maths say there didn't have to be a singularity. That doesn't mean there isn't a beginning or a Big bang just a different type of beginning and big bang

Congratulations. Hope it all works out. As an aside I have a Tshirt that has a wanted poster on it with a picture of a cat. Legend is "wanted dead and alive: Schroedingers cat". Last night while wearing this shirt someone at a pizza place came up to me and started randomly talking about Big Bang theory (the show not the theory). Took me a while to realise that the only reason they knew anything about Schroedingers cat was from the show and the knowledge imparted was a bit sketchy, even worse they thought it to be something made up for the show. Will have to go there again with my "Pavlov's cat, the unsuccessful experiment" Tshirt and see what they make of that.
