what would be the best bang for your buck dh bike out at the moment?? with out spending a arm and a leg

the new big hits are pretty well specced and fair sexy for the price. keep an eye out for the norcos like the atomik/a-line/etc. and glory's as well.

Giant Glory just for value for money. You can't go wrong with most of the Giant range for the money. They can be a bit weighty though...

What is your $ limit. Best bang for buck would have to be the 08' Norco Atomik which retails around $2999. Doubt u will find anything cheaper and as good as that. May have to look in the classified section

Giant glory for sure, I have just got one after racing a orange 223 for the past 2 years and its easily just as good if not better. They are heavy but you can eventually upgrade the parts when you get more money, mines around 18.3kg.

Giant Glory has it as the best 'bang for your buck' in the latest AMB - they reviewed 4 bikes - grab yourself a copy and make up your own mind.

The glorys or the norco atomik.

TBSM has the atomiks for $2550 and ABC bikes liverpool has the Glory Dh1 for $2850.

Glory hands down, im buying one soon (see other thread)

I'd say the commodore, wrx's are more nimble.

If this thread is about buying a bike then second hand is the go, if its a question of random interest then Norco atomik.

Best bang for buck would be as everyone says the glory or a norco (atomik or a-line). Giant and Norco always seem to be the best spec for the money.

Well if you're just starting DH, can't go past the Atomik, killer spec for $3K, and if you're experienced, the Glory would be the way to go, it's amazing how Giant can spec a bike like that and sell it at such a price, best bang for ya buck out there

Dude the difference is $400 between Glory and Atomik. Go the glory they are a great bike and as stated above have a great spec for the price.

After spending last sunday riding with some one on a glory comp 08, and a atomik 08, i will give the glory all the points, for the 2700ish paid you can NOT go wrong.. plus atomiks look like crap.
