Just wondering if anyone has changed from a Bell Super 3 to the new Bell Sixer which has essentially replaced the Super?

Is the Sixer better?

No, thinking of getting a Sixer and saving my Super 2R for hairy trails!

Do you like the 2R? Is it comfortable? Something against removing the face guard?

I use mine that way, works a treat.

I ride my Super with the guard off as mainly do XC

Thinking of saving it as a 3r to replace it is expensive

The Super 3r with chinguard removed and the Sixer fit basically the same. Slightly lighter and a little narrower externally

Meh, I have both. Had the sixer for a few months now and have gone back to my
old Super

Test in MBUK says sits low on head and good ventilation. Just going to swap from Super 3 to the Sixer myself and have one sitting on the shelf and yet to wear it in anger.
Sixer was rated 4 star.
Lowest tested helmet rated 2.5 and the best 4.5.

Recently got a sixer. I find the fit is way better than the super. Also the sixer doesn't feel so big and plasticky on your head the way the super did. Sizer is lighter too.
