It’s been going on a long time…there’s screwed up arseholes in every era.

Back in the seventies, a mate of mine was nearly killed on his dirtbike with the old fencing wire trick.

Besides nearly carking it, it trashed his voicebox and to this day and forevermore, he can only speak at a whisper.

Yep, remember removing wire set up at neck/head height at one of our DH tracks up in Blackheath a few years ago. Blew my mind that someone would set up something that could be potentially lethal or result in a life changing injury. Some serious shit c?&@! in this world.
