If you look carefully, you will find its left side drive. Normal mtb cranks cannot accomodate this....very nice. Why did you go with bmx cranks?
If you wanted, could you use cranks designed for the front of a tandem bike?If you look carefully, you will find its left side drive. Normal mtb cranks cannot accomodate this....
I suppose that could work. Don't think it would go very well strength wise....at least I know the profiles won't snap on me!If you wanted, could you use cranks designed for the front of a tandem bike?

A pair of middleburns (while not really fitting with the bombproof theme) would save some weight.
I might have missed something but cant you just put mtb cranks round the wrong way? The only think that i can think of is that the chainring would be ramped the wrong way?If you look carefully, you will find its left side drive. Normal mtb cranks cannot accomodate this....
Pedals would undo themselves.I might have missed something but cant you just put mtb cranks round the wrong way? The only think that i can think of is that the chainring would be ramped the wrong way?

Nice bike.
But the pedals can unwind. Not something anyone wants. People run Profiles because you can mount a chainring on the left crank. Any cranks with this option could possibly be used.they don't my has isis cranks
