Planning on heading to the World Cup in Cairns - April - and trying to decide whether to fly or drive...
I have already organised free accomm. in a lux. resort in Cairns (max. 6 people, 24/4 - 30/4) and essentially the decision to fly or drive comes down to finding someone to share the drive / petrol (although even petrol in Vic. and fill up on the border each way would be free too - fleet card...).
Have a Kluger, so plenty of room so long as someone has a multi bike rack - I've only got a single and definitely taking my DH.
Would be looking at doing the trip in 4-5 days each way - so leave the weekend prior and return weekend after - but haven't planned that much yet...
